Event Planning Submission

Every ministry, event, program at OBC should align with our church's mission to bring “Hope and Healing to hearts and homes.” We achieve this by carrying out the Great Commission, which is to make disciples for Jesus Christ.

The early church, in pursuit of the Great Commission, preached the gospel of Jesus, baptized new believers, and “continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.” (Acts 2:40-42).  Thus, every event, ministry, and program we undertake should aim to glorify God and grow His kingdom.

It is essential that make sure we are not just busy, but purposeful; ensuring we are all united in our efforts. Therefore, all members and leaders should present proposals for new events, programs, and ministries to the Coordinating Council based on these guiding questions
